The conversion-driven revamp of your website
This is for you when…
- You need to dramatically increase the percentage of visitors who convert into customers
- You want to revamp your entire site with a modern, conversion-driven design
- Your site is currently a pain to manage, and you want it to be easier to update pages and content
You need a clean slate
As a freelance web consultant, I’ve been helping startups redesign their websites using conversion-driven design since 2012. I recently wrote a guide called “Why your website doesn’t convert and what to do about it”, where I discuss common reasons why website visitors leave without taking action and what you can do about it.
With the Website Redesign, I’ll redesign your website with the latest conversion-driven design principles in mind.
1. Planning & Strategy
We’ll meet in-person (or over the phone) and discuss the main challenges you’re facing with respect to converting website visitors into customers. We’ll then come up with a strategy to achieve your growth goals.
Writing compelling copy may just be the most important part of creating a high-converting website. That’s why I’ll start by designing a wireframe of key website pages that focuses exclusively on copy and layout so we don’t get distracted by design choices (that will come later).
Once we’ve agreed on copy and layout, I’ll design a website mockup based on the approved wireframe. The mockup will be interactive, which lets you get a better feel for what the finished website will actually look like – even at this early stage. We’ll iterate on the design quickly by using online collaboration tools like InVision.
I’ll bring your website to life using modern web technologies to ensure that the site looks and works great across all browsers and devices (including mobile).
To make the site easy to update and maintain, I’ll develop a custom theme based on the ever-popular content management system WordPress.
4. Launch (& beyond)
Before launch, I’ll create a staging environment where you’ll get to preview the finished site and make any last-minute changes before we go live.
Once the site is launched, I’ll make sure it’s always up-to-date with the latest security updates. I’ll also make sure the site is continually backed-up and downtime is minimized by monitoring uptime performance.
What are the deliverables?
You’ll walk away with…
A redesigned website
Based on the latest conversion-driven design principles. You’ll be able to update the site content using the WordPress backend.
All source files used to create the website
You’ll have full access to the site source files so you can make ongoing changes to the site functionality and design.
How much does the Website Redesign cost? How long will it take?
A typical website redesign costs anywhere from $5,000 to $10,000 or more, depending on your specific requirements and how complex the site is.
Turnaround time is usually 1-2 months.
